Here's a couple of videos I found a while back on YouTube. The story is a tragic one. The short version is that this group was doing an investigation at a home in Villisca, Iowa, where 2 adults and 6 children were brutally murdered with an axe. They never caught the killer. If you're interested in reading the history of the murders you can do that here... www.villiscaiowa.com/Info from the site: This is video footage from PRISM's 2005 paranormal investigations of the Villisca Axe Murder House, where eight people were bludgeoned to death in 1912. In this video a closet door in the children's bedroom can be seen opening and closing on its own. Absolutely nothing was faked.youtube.com/watch?v=3-U0XktmWDkHere's another from the same investigation with evp's they caught.... Info from site: These are three great EVPs (spirit voices captured on audio tape) that were recorded during PRISM's 2005 paranormal investigations of the Villisca Axe Murder House, where eight people were bludgeoned to death in 1912. In this audio presentation, the voice of two children can be heard talking. There were no children present during our investigations ...with that, we ask you to be the judge on what it is that we recorded at the home.
When listening to the audio, it may help to know the names and ages of the children that were murdered in the home - Herman (age 11), Katherine Moore (age 10), Boyd Moore (age 7), Paul Moore (age 5), Lena Stillinger (age 11) and Ina Stillinger (age 8.)youtube.com/watch?v=T7Wh-lLRhmg

Whoa, those are probably the best EVPs I've ever heard, so clear and unmistakable. The story and even the house reminds me of the Amityville Horror, must have something to do with those attic windows.
Thanks for sharing sinderella, never heard of this story before, very interesting, so sad what happened to the family.
And I've got to say you've given me my new favorite EVPs.

I'm glad you liked them Rand, they really are amazing! I was freaked out the first time I watched the videos.
